Plans are being finalised for a Family Fun Day at Huish Park on July 30th when Yeovil Town entertain Swindon Town in the final pre-season friendly (kick off 1pm).

A bouncy castle, beat the goalie and an assault course are all aimed at giving youngsters (and maybe mums and dads!) a chance to let off steam after the match.

Anyone buying the new team shirt, priced at £40, adults, and £30, juniors, in the club shop will be offered the chance to pose with the players for a souvenir photograph which can be purchased afterwards.

Opportunities to meet the manager, Darren Way, and his squad and the chance to see behind the scenes are all on the agenda. Plans for development of the stadium will also be on display.

Table tennis and table football are among the activities. And both the Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust and the Academy are planning football-related events.

Yeovil Town chairman John Fry said: “We have always been a community-based club and we thought it important to welcome the new season and also to welcome families, particularly  the children to Huish Park, not just to see an entertaining football match, but to have some family fun as well.”
