The Glovers face Newport County and Crewe Alexandra over the Easter period with four points standing between Yeovil and the coveted 50-point mark.
Having lost 3-1 to high-flyers Portsmouth at the weekend, the ever-present Dawson told YTFC’s official YouTube channel of the importance of the Easter period.
“There was no lack of effort, maybe a bit of a lack in quality and a couple of mistakes which cost us – that seems to be the story of our season.
“We’ve got two or three massive games coming up and they’ve become even bigger with results elsewhere going the other way.
“We look forward to them now and have to go move on from this.”
Darren Way’s side will travel to Newport County on Good Friday before hosting Crewe Alexandra on Easter Monday, with the Town midfielder looking to get the job done as soon as possible.
He said: “The way results are going people are going to start looking at the bottom of the table but we’ve just got to focus on ourselves.
“There are five games left now, five cup finals to get a couple of results and it’s done and dusted.
“It’s a great time of year and we’re coming towards the end now so hopefully we’ll get a couple of results and then bring that into the last few games.”
