The midfielder is set to return to the side having missed the defeat to Carlisle United after picking up a training ground injury, with a crowd of up to 20,000 expected on the south coast this Saturday.
Unbeaten in their last three outings against Pompey, Dolan told YTFC’s official YouTube channel the Glovers need to use the occasion to their advantage.
“Playing in front of 20,000, you don’t often get the chance in this league to do that so I think the players will go down there and they’ll raise their game for the atmosphere.
“The atmosphere they create is brilliant so we’ve got to deal with that and obviously put a downer on their Saturday.”
Paul Cook’s side currently sit third in Sky Bet League Two and are closing in on automatic promotion, having won six of their last 10 games.
Despite their form and league position, Town’s number four believes focus has to be on turning draws into wins in the closing stages of the season.
“Everybody knows in this league they’re probably the biggest club budget wise and fan base wise, but let’s not concentrate too much on them though, we’ve got experience that has played in front of bigger crowds so we can go down there and settle them down and get a result.
“We’ve had a lot of draws this season so we’ll be looking for three points, so we’ll hopefully go down there on Saturday and get a win.”
With just six games remaining and having drawn more games than any other side in the division, Dolan is looking to create an air of positivity going into the 2017/18 campaign.
“I think we have 16 draws, and Stevenage have lost one more game than us and they’re up in fourth, so we’ve got that frustration of drawing football matches.
“But now we’ve got six games left and have to address getting wins between now and the end of the season and create a good atmosphere going into next season.”
