The Bantams will travel to Huish Park for the third round match on Saturday (3pm), with Yeovil currently the lowest-ranked side left in the competition.
Dickson spent a short period on loan at Bradford before signing permanently for the Glovers and is relishing taking them on in Somerset.
“We’ve got nothing to lose, and Yeovil’s history in this competition is obviously there for everyone to see, so the boys can just go out there and enjoy it,” he told iFollow Glovers.
“I think we’re the lowest-ranked in the competition and Bradford are no pushovers. They’re doing well in League One so it isn’t going to be an easy game, we know that.
“They’ve got a few technically gifted players as well, obviously with the standard that they are. It’s not a small club, Bradford.
“But like I said, anything can happen on the day and at home, we’re more than happy having them here.”
Dickson has made 24 appearances in his third season with Yeovil, and the 31-year-old says he’s still loving life in Somerset.
He said: “You’ve got to churn out a lot of games at this level. You’re going to pick up knocks and injuries and people get ill, it’s just the way it is.
“But it’s enjoyable as ever. It’s a football club that obviously I love. I like being here and, like I said, if we can pick up a few results, it’s a great place to be.”
