John Ward brings his Colchester United team to Huish Park tomorrow for a first round Capital One Cup tie at Huish Park as The Glovers kick off the season proper.

Colchester’s pre-season matches have seen mixed results for the U’s with five victories, four defeats and a draw and although the defeats were against the likes of Ipswich Town (2-1), West Ham United (2-1) it could be argued that the victories were no great shakes either against the likes of Heybridge Swifts (6-0), Maldon & Tiptree (2-1), Brentwood Town (2-1).

Yeovil on the other hand have remained undefeated in their nine friendlies with five victories against the likes of Poole Town, Plymouth Argyle, Dorchester Town, Llanelli, and Newport and four draws including Premier league side Stoke City and Exeter City.
Manager Gary Johnson is looking forward to the encounter with his old friend John Ward: "Yes I’m really looking forward to the match. I think the boys are as ready as we will ever get them and it is now just a question of doing the business on the night. The club hasn’t had a cup run of any significance for some time now so to progress to the next round would be nice."
For Yeovil Gavin Williams and Rohan Ince remain doubts whilst there are no reported injuries for Colchester.
Kick off is at 7.45 with admission prices  at £15 for adults, £10 for concessions, £7 for 16-21, £3 Juniors.
