Yeovil Town manager Chris Hargreaves has this week met with our memory lane café group.
The group consists of dementia patients and their carers, who come into Huish Park and engage in activities with club staff.
This week, first team manager Hargreaves joined the group as they toured the facilities at Huish Park.
Commenting commercial manager, Mark Robinson added; “The group offers an amazing opportunity for the Club to help lighten the strain for those living with dementia.
“Those two hours every fortnight firstly give the individual something to look forward too, but it also gives carers the opportunity to find a support network and time to relax.
“It’s amazing to see everyone brighten up and engage with the staff and Chris.”
We would like to thank Julie Woan and all at the Alzheimers Society South West for their support across the café group.
