Yeovil Town youngsters Toby Stephens and Ollie Haste have signed on loan with Truro City on short-term deals.
Looking to gain valuable experience in the men’s game, the academy graduates venture to the Southern Premier side which play their fixtures in Plymouth.
This will be Toby’s third loan spell away from the club, after a short-term spells at both Hemel Hempstead and Barnstaple Town last season.
Ollie played alongside Toby at Barnstaple last season too, he signed for the Devon outfit on a dual registration during the closing weeks of the season.
The youngsters starred Truro last weekend on a trial basis, and will now start the season with the White Tigers.
Manager Chris Hargreaves commented; “Toby and Ollie are both young lads we think very highly of, who need consistent minutes to improve.
“The step up from U18’s into the National League is never easy, so having a loan move with a fantastic club like Truro will help them bridge that gap and see them return as better players.”
Good luck, lads!
