The training session came about when 14 year-old Academy Leader Aaron Medlin (pictured above) asked manager Gary Johnson if there was any chance of the leaders could watch training and then coach the local schools with the first team squad. Gary had no hesitation in accepting Aaron’s idea and a date was swiftly arranged.

Over 150 local children attended the session, enjoying seeing how the squad train and what happens on a typical training day.
