The 19-year-old became the Glovers 10th summer signing last week agreeing a season-long loan from Premier League outfit Bournemouth, appearing as a substitute in the opening two matches of the campaign.
Prolific during a loan spell with Poole Town in National League South last season, Surridge is hoping to continue the trend in his first taste of EFL football.
Speaking to iFollow Glovers, he said: “I want to score goals, progress my career and help Yeovil in the meantime.
“If I score goals it helps the club so that’s what I want to do.
“I want to be top scorer in the club, score goals and be noticed in the league so if I score it helps the team.”
After an encouraging performance at Wolves in midweek in which the Glovers held their Championship opponents at deadlock until the final 15 minutes, Surridge is anticipating another good performance against Accrington Stanley at Huish Park on Saturday (3pm).
“We could’ve potentially won in the end (against Wolves),” he said.
“A good performance against a Championship side after an 8-2 defeat shows how good our mindset is going into Saturday.
“If we get a result on Saturday it takes us up to mid-table which would help us kick on from there. A win on Saturday would be a boost.”
