The League Managers Association five-man Performance of the Week panel, comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry, were in agreement that this week, the LMA Performance of the Week Award should go to Yeovil Town following their excellent 3-0 away win against Watford in the Sky Bet Championship on 30 November 2013.
Yeovil manager Gary Johnson will receive a specially engraved crystal football in a presentation to commemorate the award.
Town won their second LMA Performance of the Week Award of the season to secure victory at Vicarage Road.
Goals from Ishmael Miller, Byron Webster and Joe Edwards moved the visitors off the bottom of the Championship table. Johnson’s side then recorded back-to-back victories for the first time at this level as The Glovers recorded a 1-0 victory over Blackpool on Tuesday evening.
After the Watford match, Johnson was delighted with the result. "It is a massive win. Watford would have been fighting for a play-off place with a win this afternoon and most of the Watford fans would have seen this as an easy three points because of our poor league position.
"But we have been unlucky this season and should have seven or eight points more than we do."
