Yeovil Town will begin their first League Two campaign since 2004/05 on the road with a trip to face Exeter City on Saturday August 8th.

And in a distinctly local look to the first fixtures, the Glovers will host Conference playoff winners Bristol Rovers at Huish Park the following Saturday. This comes after Paul Sturrock’s men were given a plum home tie against QPR in the Capital One Cup first round draw made yesterday; the match being played in between the two local derbies.

York City away on a Tuesday night, Luton Town at home and Oxford United away follow later in August. The traditional Christmas quartet of fixtures sees away fixtures with Leyton Orient (Dec 19th) and Plymouth Argyle (Boxing Day) as well as home matches with Oxford (Dec 28th) and York City on January 2nd.

The Leyton Orient home reverse fixture winds up the season on Saturday May 7th and Yeovil’s last Saturday of travelling will see them face Conference champions Barnet the week before. Other highlights include the two games against Portsmouth (October 3rd away, February 20th away) and the journey up the A37 to play Rovers on April 16th. As well as the long trip to York, there are also home and away midweek fixtures with Accrington and Wycombe as well as a home midweeker against Mansfield.
