The Glovers returned to Huish Park after picking up four points in back-to-back away matches, but were held in a frustrating encounter which saw them dominate a 10-man Accrington outfit.

Scott Brown was sent off for the visitors for a horrible challenge on Zoko, before the Ivorian glanced home from Matty Dolan’s corner to cancel out Omar Beckles’ second-half opener against the run of play.

The goal was Zoko’s 11th of the campaign in all competitions and the forward feels the team’s performance was similar to that of other draws Yeovil have had this season.

“It was the same of some of the games we’ve played,” he told YTFC’s official YouTube channel.

“We’ve drawn a lot and don’t lose a lot of games but we have to find a way to score these goals.

“It’s hard not to feel frustrated after a game like this but this is football.

“However, the team is playing well, we’re training well and we have to keep playing like that. We had a lot of chances and if we keep working like that we’ll definitely score more goals.

“We’ll go back to training with big smiles, keep working hard and go into the next game with lots of positive thinking.”

On the amount goals he hopes to net until now and the end of the season, Zoko added: “This is a question everyone asks but I want the team to win the game. 

“I want us to finish strong with a lot of excitement. Like always I will try my best to score but the most important thing is the team winning.”

Zoko was on the end of a pretty nasty tackle from Brown which saw the Accrington man dismissed in the 22nd minute.

Former Bristol City player apologised to Zoko post-match, and the Town striker says there are no hard feelings.

“It was a bad one,” he said.

“After the game we spoke; I know he’s a good lad but sometimes you can do actions you don’t mean and you don’t want to hurt anyone.

“It wasn’t a good challenge but this is the danger of football sometimes. No one was really hurt so it’s fine.”
