Yeovil Town host Bromley on Tuesday evening with the busy National League schedule continuing for Darren Sarll’s side.

After back-to-back defeats, Town bounced back at Huish Park on Saturday afternoon with  victory over Woking, extending the winning run at BA22 to seven games.

In contrast, Bromley were held at home last time out with strugglers Barnet claiming a point at Hayes Lane.

Darren Sarll’s thoughts

Following Saturday’s victory over Woking, Sarll spoke to BBC Somerset about the progress his side have made; “I think this team is close to being a really good team.

“The youthful development that goes on is very good, and at the end there players are disappointed and angry with the performance, that’s what you want as a manager.

“Winning is disfunctional and confrontational, but when you’ve got the changing room we’ve got, we’ve got all we need to do it.”

Team news

The team news situation remains the same as Saturday’s victory for Woking.

Emmanuel Sonupe continues to work his way back to full fitness whilst Luke Wilkinson, Lawson D’Ath and Josh Staunton remain long term absentees.

Foot in the opposition camp

Bromley come into tonight’s game sat in 9th position, with eyes still firmly on getting into the playoffs. The Ravens travel to Huish Park, having lost just once in their last six fixtures, collecting impressive victories against Eastleigh and Altrincham in that time. They have a few familiar former Yeovil players in their ranks, such as Byron Webster and Courtney Duffus.

The star man for the visitors is Michael Cheek, the former Ebbsfleet man is the National League’s top scorer with sixteen goals this campaign and found the back of the net the last time the two sides met at Huish Park.
