Town suffered a 5-2 defeat to the Hatters last month which ended their Checkatrade Trophy run at the quarter-final stage.

It was the second time this season Darren Way’s outfit had travelled to Bedfordshire to take on Luton following the 1-1 draw back in August.

Yeovil have drawn nine of their last 15 matches in Sky Bet League Two but Lawless insists the squad remain positive of getting three points against the play-off Hatters this afternoon (3pm).

“We might not be getting the wins that we want but it’s definitely a positive camp,” he told YTFC’s official YouTube channel.

“We’re going to use that attitude for the game on Saturday to get the win that we want.

“I’ve played in teams, and you see teams all over the country, that can’t get a draw or clean sheet which is what we’re achieving.

“The next step is to get a win and that’s what we’re going to do.”

He added: “I know it was a while ago but in the league game we played against Luton, we came away from the game disappointed we hadn’t won it because of our second half performance.

“We watched them on TV the other night and we’re quite fresh with what they’re about and I think we owe them one.”

Tickets for the match can be purchased in person at the ticket office, online or by phone on 01935 847888.
