The Glovers went eight matches unbeaten in all competitions at Huish Park, a sequence which helped the club rise into the Sky Bet League Two play-offs and progress into the knockout stages of the Checkatrade Trophy.

Yeovil bounced back from defeat to league leaders Doncaster Rovers with an impressive 2-1 win over high-flying Plymouth Argyle in Somerset, and Way wants to build on the result against the Pilgrims starting with Leyton Orient tomorrow (3pm).

“Some of our home games we’ve played in have been good games and we’ve had some good results,” he told YTFC’s official YouTube channel.

“We go into (the Leyton Orient game) off the back of playing Plymouth which I thought was a fantastic result.

“We want to keep driving, keep winning football managers and keep giving the supporters entertainment.

“The care and commitment they’ve shown over the last couple of weeks with the distance they’ve had to travel has been phenomenal. It’s something the group and the football club are very appreciative of the support they’ve given us.”

He continued: “If we pick up maximum points from the next two games we’re probably having a different conversation next week.

“The players know how important it is and are driven to be successful as they can.”
