The Glovers are at Huish Park for the second time this week after a third successive 0-0 draw on Tuesday night against Mansfield Town.
With goals the missing link in Yeovil’s performances, Way wants someone to enjoy the attention of being match winner this weekend.
“After any game, there’s normally one player interviewed because they helped the team win,” Way told YTFC’s official YouTube channel
“The sooner we get more of that, the more successful we’re going to be.
“Having said that, we’re not going to get too frustrated because over the years here as a coach we’ve been losing games.
“We’ve drawn far too many but it’s not the end of the world.”
Yeovil have drawn nine of their last 15 outings in Sky Bet League Two, despite leading in four of those fixtures.
With Town comfortably mid-table, Way understands the fans’ frustrations.
“From where I am as a manager I have to appreciate that the supporters have been on a rollercoaster ride.
“All I had was success as a player, then we had the dizzy heights of the Championship and then free-falling.
We’re in a better position than last year but are we where we want to be and do we want to keep drawing games? No.
“But it’s not for the lack of trying. We’re all trying to build the club back up to where we belong. It’s not going to happen overnight.
“We need to be patient but I understand frustrations. We have to make sure we keep improving together and I’m sure it will successfully turn around.”
