The Glovers ran out 3-1 winners at Morecambe last weekend before earning a last-gasp point at Barnet on Wednesday.

Despite feeling Town should have won the match at the Hive, Way believes his side now have a platform to build on for the final eight games of the Sky Bet League Two campaign.

“I want to finish the season really strong,” he told YTFC.net.

“I said to the players if we picked up three points (against Barnet), we could go on a real run.

“We can still do that and I want the players to still believe in that.

“We have to make sure we prepare right now for the next game. Hopefully every player gets through the next couple days and then we go again against Accrington.”

Town have covered 828 miles in their back-to-back away games this week, and have been backed by a 279 supporters.

Once again, Way voiced his thanks for the fans’ continued support and can’t wait to play in front of them on home soil.

He said: “I want the supporters to get behind us against Accrington on Saturday.

“I want the players to excite the supporters. I want the supporters to see the team hungry, passionate and playing with loads of energy. We certainly showed that against Barnet.

“Hopefully the Barnet result will ignite them to try and create a real atmosphere at Huish Park.”

Tickets for the match against Accrington can be purchased in person at the ticket office, online or by phone on 01935 847888.
