The Glovers travel to Bedfordshire to take on the Hatters in the last eight of the competition (7.45pm), with the winners playing host to Sky Bet League One outfit Oxford United in the semi-finals.

Town’s fate would have been decided on January 24th but for a frozen pitch at Kenilworth Road, and Way can’t wait to finally get the contest played.

“It’s a big game and that’s all we can think about,” he told YTFC.net.

“We were disappointed with the postponement last time as we’d worked hard to prepare for that game but as soon as we got on the bus back from Hartlepool, our focus was on Luton again.

“We’ll be doing our best to make sure all the players are prepared going into the game.”

He continued: “It will be an exciting game.

“It’s not often you get the chance to reach Wembley in your career and these players still have that chance.

“They’re hungry and make me feel proud to come to work everyday; they keep me driving.

“They have an opportunity and not one of them wants to pass it up.

“We’ve been good in the competition so far and hopefully we can continue that against Luton.”

Way will be without Alex Lawless and Liam Shephard because of suspension, while loan trio Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro, Owain Jones and Kabongo Tshimanga are all cup-tied.

Kevin Dawson is available as his two-match ban only applies to league fixtures.
