Town will face either Southampton Under-21s or Reading Under-21s at Huish Park in the week commencing January 9th 2017.

“As a manager I’ve tried to support the competition from day one,” he told YTFC.net.

“I’ve managed against Bristol Rovers, MK Dons, Reading, Portsmouth and now to have the opportunity to potentially go up against Southampton is fantastic.

“I’m really looking forward to whoever we play and we’ll be ready by the time the game comes around.”

Town turn their attention to the league this weekend when Barnet travel to Somerset.
