The Glovers are winless in six Sky Bet League Two matches, but have drawn three times in that sequence.

“Some of the results we had, we were very close to winning,” Way told YTFC’s official YouTube channel.

“People mention we haven’t won in six games but I thought our Wycombe performance was very good and I look at the Exeter, Portsmouth and Reading games, and I’m proud of the way the players performed.

“Having said that, we accept responsibility of not picking up three points.”

He continued: “I knew for myself, the players and the football club this month was going to be difficult.

“Every game in League Two now is a key game and every team has their own strengths and weaknesses.

“From my point of view, I’m just trying to build and t’s difficult when you lose one or two but it’s been quite clear I’ve been quite consistent with my team selection.

“If we go on a run of two or three wins then it takes us in reach of the play-offs. That’s what the players are desperate for.”
