Manager Gary Johnson is one of the nominees for the Football Manager Outstanding Managerial Achievement Award at tonight’s .

The award recognises the best managerial achievement from the past 12 months. From unexpected promotion, to giant killings and cup runs, the award acknowledges those leaders that orchestrate generation-defining moments for their club and its fans.

Nominations for this award were suggested by fans via Sports Interactive’s Football Manager Twitter account and Facebook page. Among the many received, the stand-out nominations included Chesterfield’s Paul Cook, AFC Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe and Yeovil Town Manager Gary Johnson.

Fans will be treated to a front row seat for Sunday’s Football League Awards 2014 with live coverage of the ceremony set to be broadcast to a global online audience across multiple channels.

The annual celebration of achievements, both on and off pitch by The League’s 72 clubs, which will take place at the Brewery, London, will be transmitted live via FLAwards.com, The Football League’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page while also being hosted on each of the 72 member clubs’ websites and official YouTube channels.

In addition, The Football League has partnered with Sky Sports, Mail Online, TEAMtalk.co.uk and the Daily Star, to take the event to fans around the world.

To watch the ceremony live, fans can head to any of the platforms from 8:45pm tonight to see the stars from the Sky Bet Championship, League 1 and League 2 vying for honours at the spectacle.

Sunday’s event will be the ninth staging of The Football League’s annual celebration, and will see award winners across 13 categories crowned on the night, such as the Sky Bet Player of the Year in all three divisions, the Young Player of the Year and the Mitre Goal of the Year.
