The Albanian signs a contract at Huish Park after impressing on trial and will make his first appearance in green and white against his former employers this afternoon.

Able to operate across midfield, in defence and up front, the 25-year-old joins the Glovers after helping Stratford to their highest ever league finish in the club’s history, starring in 2018/19.

Commenting, manager Darren Sarll said: “All my career I’ve been fortunate to have been able to identify non-league players that can potentially have a bigger and brighter future.

“Because of the club’s relationship with Stratford Town, we were fortunate to have Albi in for a week’s training and he not only coped but exceeded all expectations.

“He’ll be a player the fans will connect with; a wholehearted, give everything for the greater good type player that will play a big part for the foreseeable future. This project is really early but very exciting and I’m looking forward to developing Albi further.”

Town fans can watch Albi and the rest of the first team at Huish Park this afternoon in pre-season action against Stratford.
