The Young Glovers came away from the Hawthorns with a 3-2 win to progress to the Fourth Round of the competition.
After falling behind, Town got back on level terms courtesy of Callum Morton who notched his third goal in as many games in the competition.
Despite WBA only entering the Cup at the Third Round stage the Glovers seemed to have the edge in terms of energy and took the lead after 62 minutes.
Joe Tomlinson fired home a superb free-kick after Morton was brought down when through on goal; the incident also saw Albion’s Max Melbourne shown a straight red card.
With a man advantage the Under-18’s added a third through Paul Akinuli to make it 3-1.
Facing an early exit, the hosts found a second goal themselves with Kingsley Latham unfortunately putting through his own net, but Town held on to claim a scalp in the FA Youth Cup and leave the West Midlands with a spot in the Fourth Round.
