The 20-year-old netted twice in four minutes to put the Glovers 2-1 up before Ryan Seager secured all three points late on after the Shrimps equalised.

Starting on the right of midfield after completing 80 minutes out wide a week previous, Abrahams told iFollow Glovers he’s finding it a pleasant experience.

“I’m here to play football and show what I can do so now I’ve been given the opportunity. Luckily, it’s going my way so I’m delighted about that.

“It’s a new position for me, I haven’t played there before but it’s a learning curve and I’m enjoying it. I’m playing well so I can’t complain at the minute.

“I’m wanting to score goals, I think it’s a big part of my game so I’m happy to finally bring it to the table.”

The Norwich loanees brace saw him get off the mark in green and white in what was just his second full start.

Lifting the Glovers six points clear of the bottom two, Abrahams was quick to point towards the belief amongst the players.

“There’s a lot of belief in the group so their goal didn’t really do much to our confidence,” he said. “We knew the job we had to do and if we did it right we’d get the result and we did.

“The club means a lot to each and every player, even myself. Our job is to win football matches and keep the club in the Football League so when we’re getting big results like today, it means a lot and that showed.

“We know what we’ve got to do. We can’t get ahead of ourselves with two wins because we’ve still got a lot of games left.”
