Finally, the new agreement will also see TradePoint sponsor The Football League’s Academy series of best practice seminars.  The TradePoint Academy Series aims to improve the business performance of each Football League club through a series of thought-provoking seminars on relevant football industry topics.

The Football League’s Chief Commercial Officer, Richard Heaselgrave said: “I am delighted to welcome TradePoint to this new partnership with The Football League.  It gives each of our clubs the opportunity to save thousands of pounds on the cost of maintaining their stadium or training ground.

TradePoint, the local building suppliers, will also become the title partner of The Football League Radio Show, the weekly round-up of news, views and comment from across all three divisions of the Sky Bet Football League hosted by Mark Clemmit.

The new agreement will see all 72 Football League clubs join TradePoint’s membership scheme, which gives businesses discounted prices on TradePoint’s vast range of building and home improvement products.

TradePoint, the ‘trade’ brand of the UK’s largest home improvement retailer B&Q, has become the first ever Official Trade Supplier to The Football League in a brand new partnership.
