Here are his answers to some of your questions. The best appeared in the Port Vale Green&White edition.

Harry Simpson
Did you enjoy how the club announced your transfer in the summer?

JG: I think it was a good way to announce it because it was different. Everyone uses Snapchat these days so it was fun.

Jed Holt
What’s the weirdest experience you’ve had in your life?

JG: I’ve had a weird experience but I can’t remember it! So yeah… I can’t think of one.

Majo Dadis Dado
Did you know that Yeovil have fans in Slovakia?

JG: No I didn’t but it’s good to have support all around the world.

Henry YTFC Ebdon
What’s the best moment in your career so far?

JG: Two years ago when I was at Hartlepool I scored a goal against Derby which was voted fifth best FA Cup goal that season.

Sophie Park
If you could be a famous person for a day, who would you be and why?

JG: I’ve got a thing for Gareth Bale so it would probably be him. I like him a lot.

Sean Cason
When you were younger, which football team did you support?

JG: Spurs. I see them when I can. Last season I went to the first Champions League game at Wembley against Monaco and the atmosphere was unbelievable.

Jon Margetts
With yourself, Jordan Green and Rhys Browne, do you think Darren is trying to sign a whole squad of players with colours for names?

JG: I don’t know… maybe! It would be interesting, wouldn’t it? The first one that comes into my head who we could add to that is a Rangers player called Ian Black. He was at Blackpool last year.

Jordan Walker
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you take?

JG: My playstation but that comes with wifi and a TV so that’s one! My phone and my best mate.

Ash Phillips
Who is the best player you’ve played with and against?

JG: With would be Wilfried Zaha. If you stitched him up with a pass he’d get his body in there and do some magic with the ball. Best player against would be Adel Taarabt in a 21s game. He was ridiculous!

William Buttle
Would you rather cage fight Omar Sowunmi or Sid Nelson?

JG: I’d rather fight Sid. Omar is too big and I’d be eaten alive in two minutes – not even that, 10 seconds! Sid is more my height so we might have a little grapple but I’d only last a minute.

Daryl Allinson
What’s different about Yeovil from your previous clubs?

JG: The area is a bit different. The best bit about the club is the group. The boys are close knit and at other clubs they probably haven’t been as close.

Michael Stone
How do you feel about the changes at your ex-club Palace?

JG: Frank De Boer didn’t get long there, did he? They haven’t kept a manager for a season since I left. There’s been a lot of changes which is not the best for them.
