Split into Northern and Southern sections once again, the groups have been chosen to minimise travel time for EFL clubs and fans after supporter feedback. 

Having been grouped with the Devon pairing last week, the Glovers’ group was completed with the addition of Chelsea Under-21s this afternoon. 

Southern Section Group D is as follows:

Town’s cup campaign will begin with a trip to St James Park to take on Exeter City before home ties against Chelsea Under-21s and Plymouth Argyle to round off the group stages. Dates and ticket information will be announced in due course.

The group stage fixtures are as follows:

Match 1: Exeter City v Yeovil Town
Match 2: Yeovil Town v Chelsea Under-21s
Match 3: Yeovil Town v Plymouth Argyle
