12th September 2017

Darren Way admitted his side’s performance in the goalless draw against Cheltenham Town on Saturday wasn’t up to the required standards, but praised his players, Artur Krysiak in particular, for keeping a clean sheet.

Seven points from a possible nine at Huish Park is an impressive return and the Glovers will be looking to make it 10 from 12 on Tuesday night.

It is Yeovil’s best home form since September to December of last season where they picked up six wins and two draws in a row, across three competitions.

Morecambe have had a tough to their Sky Bet League Two campaign, picking up just one victory which came on the opening day.

Since then, Jim Bentley’s team are winless in five, losing on three occasions, and sit one point above the drop zone in 20th.

Shrimps striker Vadaine Oliver will miss the match in the West Country after receiving red in their local derby with Accrington Stanley.

Head-to-head
Town’s only victory over Morecambe in the EFL came last season.

Defender Bevis Mugabi was on target as the Glovers ran out 3-1 winners at the Globe Arena.

You have to go back to January 2003 for Yeovil’s previous three points over the Shrimps.

The Green and Whites won 2-0 at Huish Park, courtesy of strikes from Andy Lindegaard and Kirk Jackson.

Officials
Craig Hicks will be the man in the middle on Tuesday night.

All of Mr Hicks’ league matches have come in League Two this season.

The Surrey-born official has refereed six games so far, dishing out 16 yellow cards but no reds.

Hicks has never officiated a Town game.

He will be assisted by John Flynn (Oxfordshire) and Christopher Husband (Worcestershire) with Mark Derrien (Dorset) acting as fourth official.
