The Glovers are looking to bounce back at home having suffered their first loss of the season at Huish Park last time out against Colchester United.

Defeat to the U’s was followed by a 2-0 loss to Newport County in South Wales last weekend, condemning Town to consecutive Sky Bet League Two losses.

Returning to their home patch, the Green and Whites host the Railwaymen on Saturday, with Way wanting to provide the supporters with an entertaining performance.

“It’s important that our supporters see a performance,” he told iFollow Glovers

“They (the fans) can accept defeat but sometimes it’s the manner of the defeat. The players and supporters aren’t stupid, they know when a team is playing with passion.

“I also think it’s important we play with confidence because I think that’s been missing in certain aspects of the game.

“We’ve had a good week though, the players have been in everyday, trained exceptionally hard and shown a huge commitment. We’re all looking forward to the game.”

Yeovil enjoyed playing the Cheshire outfit last season recording the double, scoring four goals along the way and conceding none.

With the last two meetings disregarded by the Town boss, Way is focused on nurturing a winning mentality amongst his players.

He said: “It’s quite strange really, we had Crewe last year and that was a very, very important game. But the focus doesn’t change from week-to-week.

“It’s important that the players build that winning mentality every day, whether it’s five-a-side, playing 11 v 11 or young versus old, it’s important we keep instilling that in the players.”
