The green and whites come into the West Country affair without a win in their last three league outings.

Tom James’ stoppage-time winner at Carlisle is the last time Town picked up maximum points in Sky Bet League Two ahead of the visit of Rovers.

Facing the Gloucestershire outfit for just the third time in the EFL, Town’s boss is looking for his side to produce a positive performance.

Speaking to iFollow Glovers, he said: “The last game was a confidence issue and we want to make sure this group, from winning 6-0 at Newport and 4-0 at Notts County, keep believing in themselves.

“We all want to win at this football club and we’ve won at certain stages this season, but we need to make sure we get that run of form back.

“I like to think the group see every game as winnable because I genuinely believe this group of players are good. We just need to get that win and we’ll gain a lot of confidence.

“The only way to do that is to make sure every player is 100% playing with belief, energy and commitment.”

In just a second ever EFL meeting between the two sides at Huish Park, the green and whites look to pick up a first league win over Rovers.

Sitting 10th in the table but with just one win in their last four, Way knows what his side will be up against.

“They’re very good with possession,” he said. “They’re a possession based team, one or two touch team with good movement.

“They’ve had certain games where they’ve been very difficult where they’ve got men behind the ball and we’ll need to break that down and that’s been our problem at home.

“We need to make sure we’re a little more aggressive in our attacking third with more crosses and shots.

“One or two individuals have been with us – Matt Worthington, Reuben Reid, Liam Shephard, Tahvon Campbell – so we know some of their players but it’ll be a good game for us.”
