Town were held to a 1-1 draw with Port Vale at Huish Park on Saturday and now turn their attention to a midweek trip to Derbyshire.

Winless from their first four trips on the road, Way is looking to arrest his side’s disappointing run away from home.

Speaking to YTFC.net, he said: “Every team up and down the country is looking for that winning solution.

“We were close at Grimsby, but we have to make sure we go even closer at Chesterfield. We have to find a solution that gets us points away from home.

“We want more and the supporters want more. We’ve had more in the past.”

Chesterfield are currently without a permanent manager after parting company with Gary Caldwell earlier this month.

While the Spireites are without a win in their last six games, Way feels his side have to cease making mistakes to come away from the Proact Stadium with at least a point.

“We just need to make sure that we look at the mistakes that we’ve made previously, and the performances that we’ve had previously, and you work on that in training to make sure you find a solution.

“Our home form, we haven’t lost. Our away form is a different story so we have to make sure we address that and I think if we do that, we’ll certainly find a quicker way of climbing the table.”

Tickets for the trip to Chesterfield are on sale via the Huish Park ticket office (01935 847888) and on the night directly from the ground.
