The Glovers haven’t scored in their last three outings despite having four goals ruled out in their last two matches.

Left frustrated from trips to Stevenage and Cheltenham which both ended in 1-0 defeat, Town now host Grimsby Town at Huish Park.

Chasing a first win in four, Way feels one victory can change his side’s fortunes: “We have to score more goals and that’s very important but you get that with a little bit of luck and confidence,” he told iFollow Glovers.

“We’ve had it, we’ve been close to it, we’ve lost it and we have to everything we can to make sure that our behaviour, our attitude, can bring that back. One win, a little bit of luck will change the thought process.”

In the reverse fixture, the green and whites travelled to Blundell Park and returned to the South West with all three points thanks to Omari Patrick’s strike.

Seven of the 11 who started in Lincolnshire in September are available to feature this weekend, as part of a much-changed Town squad.

With seven acquisitions and nine departures during January, Yeovil’s boss is looking for his new-look side to gel.

“We got off to a fantastic start, we were a little bit unlucky to lose the players that we did, we had the uncertainty of the transfer window, and now we’re into part two of the second part of the season,” he said.

“I feel we’re two games in with the new players and that’s going to take time to gel, other clubs have probably not got to deal with the amount of turnover.

“We’ve got the youngest team, or have played the youngest team, in all top four divisions so that needs managing and as I’ve said the objective is to stay in the Football League and that’s not changed for me in the last three years.”
