Yeovil Town suffered a 2-0 defeat to Sporting Club Farense in a pre-season match played at their training camp in Portugal.
In a niggly first half the Portuguese side were clearly the more dominant but Yeovil carried a constant threat in the shape of new loan signing Michael Ngoo.
Yeovil fell behind in the 32nd. minute when a back pass from Webbster was pounced on by Dyop.
The second half saw a more determined response from Yeovil and they should have had a penalty when Billy Clifford was blatantly brought down in the box.
The local referee refused to give it and to make matters worse booked and sent off Clifford for simulation. A shocking decision.
Following a free kick against Ed Upson, Neca lobbed keeper Gareth Stewart to give a very unjust look to the score line for Farense’s second goal.
Ten men Yeovil continued to battle but by then the defeat was sealed.
