Yeovil Town return to league action on Saturday (3pm) as the Glovers travel North to face Chorley.

Having not played at Victory Park since 1989, Town fans can enjoy a trip to unfamiliar surroundings.

The hosts have enjoyed a resurgence in recent years under the management of former player Jamie Vermiglio, who led the Magpies to promotion from the National League North last year.

The Glovers will look to bounce-back after falling short in the last league outing against Harrogate Town at Huish Park.

Head-to-head

Town have not clashed with Chorley since 1990, when Mickey Spencer netted twice to secure a 2-1 victory.

In our five previous meetings with the Magpies, the record books are overwhelmingly positive, with the green and whites boasting four victories and just one defeat.

The sole defeat came in our last trip to Victory Park with Chorley running out the 3-2 victors.

The most memorable encounter came in our first meeting with this weekend’s hosts as the Glovers were 5-2 victors in the second round of the FA Trophy.

Officials

Andrew Kitchen will be the man in the middle on Saturday afternoon at Victory Park. This will be Kitchen’s tenth game of the season, after taking charge of both Premier League 2 and National League action so far.

Kitchen will be supported by Ben Wyatt and Alistair Nelson, with Darren Rogers acting as the fourth official.
