4th April 2019

The West Country clash will be Town’s second shortest trip of the season and one of the most important in Sky Bet League Two.

For the green and whites, anything other than a victory could see them drop into the bottom two for the first time in 2018/19 whilst the Robins have an outside chance of making the play-offs.

With it all to play for at both ends of the table, Town will want to start the month of April on a high after making the short trip across the county border to Wiltshire.

If they’re to do so they’ll be without Rhys Browne (hamstring) and Alex Pattison (back), with Omar Sowunmi (ankle) back in training and available for selection.

Making it a virtually fully fit squad to choose from, whoever makes the matchday 18 will be up against a Swindon side unbeaten in their last three and boasting seven goals in their last two games.

Also five unbeaten at the County Ground, Town will be looking to collect their first win on the road since the 1-0 win at Mansfield in January.

Head-to-head
Saturday’s match will be the 19th encounter between the two sides.

Swindon have the advantage with nine victories to their name, with the green and whites without a win in their last three meetings.

The Glovers can be buoyed by their last victory which came in 2015, as James Berrett secured a 1-0 win at the County Ground.

Officials
Thomas Bramall will be taking charge of proceedings in Wiltshire.

It will be his fourth match of the campaign involving the Glovers, after last taking charge of the 4-1 defeat away at Oldham Athletic in February.

On Saturday he’ll be assisted by Matthew Smith and Adrian Tranter with Leigh Crowhurst acting as fourth official.
