Darren Sarll was quick to heap on the praise for the travelling Yeovil Town supporters following our enthralling 3-3 draw with Wrexham.

Speaking to YTTV in North Wales, the Gaffer said;

“First of all, there has been some moments I’ve had here already, Solihull away, the first win at home against Eastleigh, but this one the fans afterwards, wow! They took my breath away.”

“They were so strong with us, that is our core, they’re our proper supporters.”

“I’m pleased for them more than anyone that we gave them something to watch and a point to take home too.”

As a manager, the topsy-turvy nature of the National League clash was even more of an agonising experience.

“It was horrendous (for a manger), horrible, evil. It was like I’d done something wrong in a previous life!”

“We’ve been poor at times when it comes to taking things away from games, and today it was hell on Earth at times, at one point in the last minute I put my head inside my coat and hoped it would stop.”

“There is a good 50% of that dressing room who is disappointed with how they played. Then you can go to Murphy and he’s bouncing around. So, it’s a real mixture of emotions.”
