Aged just 17 years and 38 days the teenager came on for the closing stages of Tuesday’s league meeting with Cheltenham Town.

The third Academy product to make his professional debut in green and white this season, the striker was rewarded for his scintillating form for the Under-18s after becoming a first-year scholar in the summer stepping up from the Under-16s.

Joining Gabby Rogers and Daniel Ojo in featuring in competitive action for the Glovers, Arnold beats Ollie Bassett – who made his debut in 2015 – to become the youngest ever player to represent the club in the EFL by 158 days.

All at YTFC would like to congratulate Devon on his debut and look forward to seeing him add to his appearance tally in the coming seasons.
