Another Academy product in the Glovers’ ranks, Alex John signed a first professional contract this summer.
Spending time with the first team towards the end of last season and named as an ununsed substitute on a handful of occasions, the young Welshman put pen to paper on a two-year contract in June.
Able to operate in midfielder, at centre-back or right-back, the 18-year-old’s versatility makes him a valuable asset.
