The 20-year-old captained the Swans’ Under-23s to the Premier League 2 title last season, and becomes the latest in a long line of players to arrive at Huish Park from the Liberty Stadium.

Davies came through the ranks in South Wales and first featured for the Under-23s aged just 15, before captaining the Under-19s to two FAW Youth Cups.

A goalscorer in the 2015 final win over rivals Cardiff City, Swansea-born Davies captained the youth side on 16 occasions in the league last season, and a further five times in the youngsters’ run to the Checkatrade Trophy quarter-finals.

Davies is the Glovers’ second defensive signing of the summer, joining experienced centre-back Stephane Zubar in donning Green and White.

Having captured Davies’ services, manager Darren Way was delighted to continue Town’s relationship with Swansea.

“I’m really excited to have the opportunity to work with Keston,” Way told YTFC.net.

“He’s the latest in a long line of players to be entrusted to us from Swansea and I’d like to thank Huw Jenkins and everyone else at the club for their help in completing the move.”
