The Yeovil-born forward signed on loan from Southampton in late January and has made two outings in green and white.

It was something Seager had always wanted to do and he shared some of his memories of supporting the Glovers ahead of Saturday’s match at Crewe Alexandra.

“It’s really to be back in Yeovil. I’ve seen my family a lot lately and I live at home with my mum so it’s perfect,” he told iFollow Glovers

“When I heard there was interest from Yeovil, I really wanted to come and play some games and help the team out where I can.

“When I was a kid I always wanted to play here because this is where I came to watch football.

“I watched the gaffer, Lee Johnson… I remember back in the Conference we had Kevin Gall up front and I loved watching him. I went to Wembley with my brother when we went up to the Championship which was a good day out.”

Seager’s next match could see him come up against his former loan employers Crewe.

The 22-year-old scored once in four games before returning to Southampton through injury and he hopes Town can go their and extend their good form of late.

He said: “I was there for a couple of weeks, scored a goal and then did my knee so it’ll be good to go back there as I know a few of the physios and players.

“We’ll go there with the same intent as the last two games and hopefully get our rewards.

“It’s a big game and one we know can win. We want to push up the table as far as we can and that starts on Saturday.”
