Arriving on a free transfer from League One outfit Bury, the Swiss will wear the number 10 shirt at Huish Park.

Starting his career with FC Zurich in his home country, he had further spells with FC Schlieren and Wettswil-Bonstetten before heading across Europe to England.

Notching an impressive 11 goals in 16 appearances for Whitehawk, the 25-year-old earned a trial and eventual contract with the Shakers ahead of last season.

Omotayo should prove to be a familiar name for Glovers fans after scoring the winner on the opening day of the 2018/19 campaign on what was his professional debut for Bury.

Also enjoying a loan spell in the National League with Maidstone United last October, Gold heads to Somerset for a second stint in the division and will wear the number 10 shirt at Huish Park.

The club’s newest recruit is ineligible for Monday’s trip to Dagenham & Redbridge.
