Yeovil Town Chairman John Fry has reiterated the need to stay calm in the light of recent results, including at Port Vale on Saturday.

Mr.Fry commented: “Three defeats are not what we as a club want to see, but it hardly constitutes a crisis. In my opinion Gary Johnson, Terry Skiverton and Darren Way are without doubt amongst the best coaching and management team in this league.

“Gary has already stated that after ten games he will review where we are and he is reviewing his whole strategy from coaching methods, injuries and personnel right now.

“ I firmly believe he will get the team back to winning ways very soon.

“Every football fan wants their team to be winning and I know Yeovil supporters are no different. But we need their total support at this time because theirs are the voices that are always heard first.

“Successful football is always about confidence and right now the confidence in the players has dipped somewhat, but confidence can reappear just as quickly with a good win against Swindon.

“What is needed now is patience to allow the manager and his coaching team to get that confidence back into the squad.

“It will come back, of that I am sure, but let’s try and all stick together and generate some positive atmosphere at Huish Park on Saturday.”

Yeovil Town take on high flying Swindon on Saturday in front of what is expected to be a big crowd. Tickets are still available from the Yeovil Town Ticket Office on 01935 847888 or on line at www.ytfc.net.
