23rd February 2018

Grimsby, Cambridge United and Barnet were all dispatched in Sky Bet League Two, whilst higher league opposition in the form of Fleetwood were seen off in the Checkatrade Trophy.

As the Cumbrians head south, Town haven’t conceded a goal at home in four-and-a-half hours of league football, scoring seven goals in the process.

If proficiency in the final third is to continue on Saturday, it will have to be without top scorer Francois Zoko who serves the final game of his two-match suspension.

The Ivorian’s suspension has been met by the timely return of 10-goal man Otis Khan, who returned from a five-game absence last weekend at Stevenage.

Bevis Mugabi (hamstring) continues to edge closer to full fitness and could be in contention for a return, but Darren Way will still be without the services of Dan Alfei, James Bailey, Nathan Smith, Artur Krysiak (all knee) and Marcus Barnes (ankle).

United come into the weekend’s meeting having won their last two matches, most recently picking up a 3-1 win at bottom club Barnet in midweek.

Jamie Devitt was on target in London to register his ninth goal of the season, whilst Danny Grainger also sits on nine for the campaign.

Carlisle have one former Glover in their ranks, with defender Tom Parkes spending a short loan stint at Huish Park back in 2010.

Head-to-head
The Glovers have faced United 23 times since entering the EFL.

Enjoying a patchy record, Town have seven wins to their name but are on a winless streak of 11.

Yeovil’s last victory over the Cumbrians came in 2011, when Jon Obika and Dean Bowditch secured a 2-0 win at Brunton Park.

Officials
Antony Coggins (Oxfordshire) will take charge of the league meeting between the two sides.

It will be Mr. Coggins’ third trip to Huish Park this season, having overseen the 1-0 defeat to Colchester and 2-0 win over AFC Wimbledon.

On Saturday, he’ll be assisted by Christopher Kidd (Oxfordshire) and Michael Webb (Surrey) with Dean Treleaven (West Sussex) acting as fourth official.
