SIGNING | Will Buse arrives on loan whilst Evans departs

Yeovil Town can confirm the signing of Will Buse on a season long loan from Bristol City.

Buse, who was born and raised in Yeovil, arrives to bolster the goalkeeping department at Huish Park. Already boasting experience within the non-league ranks, Buse has enjoyed spells at Dorchester and Taunton, winning promotion from the Southern League with the Peacocks.

The arrival of Buse makes way for Max Evans to depart on loan to Larkhall AFC, gaining valuable first team experience within the Southern League.

Max Evans will enjoy a temporary spell with Bath based Larkhall.

Commenting on the double switch, manager Chris Hargreaves added; “Both these loans are crucial for the development of each individual.

“Firstly with Max, he is at a stage where he needs to be out there playing games on a consistent basis. He can only learn so much on the training pitch, so this loan is the next stage in his development.

“We all think very highly of Max and know he will return an even better player.

“Obviously with Max departing, there is a need for another goalkeeper in the squad. Will arrives as the perfect candidate to bolster the goalkeeping department.

“As a local lad, his connection to the club was a huge draw, but more importantly, he is a very good goalkeeper as those who watched our friendly against Taunton saw.

“He is strong competition for Grant Smith and will go into the squad for Saturday’s game.”

Good luck, lads!
