Yeovil Town are pleased to announce the signing of Goalkeeper Scott Loach from Rotherham United on a one month emergency loan deal.

Loach has been drafted in following injuries to both Chris Weale and Artur Krysiak.

Weale has been out for a number of months while Krysiak was forced off the field due to head injury on Saturday.

It was down to goalkeeper coach Gareth Stewart to step in for the remainder of the game, but it was decided that bringing in a loan stopper would be the best option for the next few games.

Loach goes straight into the squad to face Walsall on Tuesday night.

Nottingham-born Loach has already spent time on loan this season with both Bury in League Two and Peterborough.

He played for the Posh in their 1-0 defeat to Yeovil in January.

Loach made over 100 appearances for Watford before moving onto Ipswich and then Rotherham but has found first team opportunities hard to come by.

His third loan of the season helps out all parties and you can see Loach’s debut at Huish Park this Tuesday night.
