Yeovil Town are pleased to announce the signing of defender Ryan Dickson.

The 28-year-old has penned a two-year deal at Huish Park after his departure from Crawley Town.

Ryan has previously spent time on loan at Huish Park in 2012 when he joined from parent club Southampton. During his loan spell he made five appearances scoring one goal in the 3-2 defeat away at Bury.

Cornish born Ryan started his career at Plymouth Argyle in 2004 before he joined Brentford in 2008, where he played over 80 games for the Bees.

In 2010 he joined Southampton, where he remained for three years before joining Colchester United.

At the beginning of the 2014/15 season Ryan joined Crawley Town where he made 32 appearances.

Manager Paul Sturrock said: "I had Ryan playing for me at Plymouth Argyle, but I moved him on at that time because I felt I had more experienced players available.

"He has a very good career to date, playing for clubs like Southampton and Brentford.

“He is only 28-years old and has a superb left foot and I feel he is a player that will excite the crowd here at Huish Park.”
