Town travelled to Devon to take on Plymouth Argyle in their penultimate pre-season friendly before taking on Truro City on Saturday.

Goals in the first half from Rueben Reid and a superb effort from Liam Davis saw the teams head into half time level.

Town took the lead with ten minutes to go when substitute Sam Hoskins shot deflected past McCormick and bobbled into the net.

The hosts took the lead when former Glover Reid jinked his way into the area and slotted home past Weale in the Yeovil goal.

The Glovers drew level just before the half hour mark when Davis picked the ball up 20 yards out from goal. The winger looked up and curled a superb effort into the far corner, leaving keeper Luke McCormick with no chance.

Gary Johnson made two changes on the hour mark with James Hayter and Jakub Sokolik being replaced by Ajay Leitch-Smith and Ben Nugent.

With just under twenty minutes remaining Johnson made more changes with Moloney, Hoskins and Ralph coming on to replace Smith, Twumasi and Dawson.

Hoskins scored Town’s second when his long range effort took a deflection and wrong footed keeper McCormick and bobbled into the net.
