Yeovil Town are back in SkyBet League One Action this coming Saturday as the Glovers host Oldham Athletic with a 3pm kick off.

It is a match that would have pitted two of the Johnson family against each other, but will now see two interim managers take their places in the dugout and go head to head.

Father Gary Johnson was relieved of his duties at Yeovil earlier in February and son Lee has moved from Boundary Park to take up the top job at Barnsley.

The Glovers are hoping to put right the midweek result that saw them lose 1-0 to Walsall on Tuesday.

A single Jordy Hiwula goal was all that separated the sides in a game which saw both teams miss penalties.

Adam Morgan failed from the spot after debutant ‘keeper Scott Loach had himself denied Saddler’s striker Tom Bradshaw from 12-yards.

The defeat brings to an end a short unbeaten spell for Yeovil; back-to-back draws had seen confidence rise and brought hopes of home comforts helping to turn those valuable points into a winning streak.

But with a quick turnaround before the next fixture, again with the Huish Park faithful behind them, the squad are hoping to get back on track sooner rather than later.

The midweek defeat didn’t change too much in terms of the relegation scrap; Yeovil are still bottom, six points from safety and four points behind the side in 23rd.

Acting Manager, Terry Skiverton has admitted that time is running out, but again promised that the squad and coaching staff would not be deterred as they give everything to avoid the drop.

That continues on Saturday and with Oldham coming off the back of a long midweek away trip, the motorway miles might end up taking their toll on the Lancashire side.

On Tuesday, they travelled down the M6 to Port Vale and returned with all three points following a 1-0 win.

Mike Jones (pictured) scored the only goal of the game, a 25-yard free kick did the damage to give Dean Holden his first win in temporary charge.

Holden had overseen their previous match, a 4-0 defeat to high flying Preston.

All of that leaves the Latics in 11th position just 3 points off the play-offs.

There will be a couple of familiar faces in the away dressing room on Saturday; Adam Lockwood was a stalwart of the Conference and FA Trophy winning side that did so well, while Jake Kean played in goal for Yeovil on a short term loan earlier this season.

It seems commonplace at the moment to discuss Yeovil’s ongoing injury concerns and this week is no different. Liam Davis and Stephen Artherworrey both had concerns going into Tuesday’s game with the Fulham loanee missing out of the squad altogether.

Stephen Kingsley (pictured) took a terrible challenge during the game and was forced off fearing damage to his face and cheekbone.

Thankfully, those fears weren’t met and the Swansea man will be monitored right through until Saturday morning.

The same applies to Chris Weale and Artur Krysiak. Both ‘keepers have spent time in the physio’s room recently, but with Scott Loach in for a month, there is no need to rush either of those back.

This game provides Yeovil with another opportunity to clinch the home and away double over a side for the second time this season.

The trip to Oldham resulted in an impressive 4-0 win for Yeovil, arguably the best result of the entire campaign so far.

Stephen Arthurworrey, Simon Gillett, Sam Hoskins and Kieffer Moore did the damage in a match that Yeovil dominated from start to finish.

Prior to this season, the two sides last met in 2012/13 season, Yeovil losing 1-0 away from home in the first ever "Father v Son" derby but thrashing a Paul Dickov-led Oldham 4-1 at home.

Yeovil fans will remember a Gavin Williams wonder goal that day.

That single Latics win is in fact, the only time the Blues have come out on top in this fixture since 2008.

Five draws and six Glovers wins have been and gone since then.

What’s more, the head to head at Huish Park is even more in Yeovil’s favour; of the eight meetings in Somerset, only one – the very first one back in 2005 – went Oldham’s way.

You can see if that impressive win record can continue by securing your place at Huish Park this Saturday.

It’s no secret that Yeovil need your support to help get themselves out of trouble and everybody through the turnstiles makes a real difference.
