24th February 2017

Town have drawn of their last four matches in the league away from Huish Park.

The Glovers will be looking to bounce back from their last trip where they suffered a 2-0 defeat to struggling Cheltenham Town.

Boss Darren Way took responsibility for the loss and vowed to correct the result in the game at Notts County this weekend.

The Magpies have been in good form since Kevin Nolan took over as manager and have won three in five.

Nolan was appointed with County in the relegation zone and since his arrival his side have climbed to 20th.

The Nottinghamshire club boast a wealth of experience in their squad with the likes of former Manchester United and England midfielder Alan Smith, experienced forward Jon Stead and Nigeria international Shola Ameobi.

Former Yeovil loanee Tahvon Campbell joined Notts County on loan in January.

Head-to-head

Yeovil have won their last two matches to nil against the Magpies.

Darren Way’s outfit hosted the Nottinghamshire side on the opening day of the 2016/17 Sky Bet League Two season, running out 2-0 winners at Huish Park.

The Glovers lost to County at Meadow Lane last year but their two previous fixtures in East Midlands saw them win 2-1.

Referee

Eddie Ilderton (Tyne & Wear) will take charge of just his 10th game of the season when Town take on Notts County.

Mr Ilderton has awarded 30 yellow cards so far this campaign and has issued two red cards. He is yet to take charge of a Yeovil fixture.

The North East-based official last took charge of a match involving the Glovers two seasons ago, when Terry Skiverton’s side lost on the road at Rochdale.

Mr Ilderton will be assisted by Anthony Moore (Manchester) and Nicholas Barnard (Cheshire) with Alf Greenwood (North Yorkshire) acting as fourth official.
