Town will be looking to build on their last away performance – a solid defensive display at Notts County.

The Glovers picked up their 11th clean sheet of the season at Meadow Lane against the in-form Magpies.

Darren Way’s side did concede four against Luton Town last time out and  the 37-year-old has called for bouncebackability this weekend.

Morecambe lost just once in February which led to boss Jim Bentley being nominated for League Two manager of the month.

The Shrimps have climbed up to 15th in the table but suffered a 3-1 defeat to Blackpool last week.

Bentley’s outfit have kept five clean sheets this season.

Head-to-head

Town have never beaten Morecambe in the EFL (L3).

The Shrimps left Huish Park with all three points in August after Kevin Ellison’s 55th-minute strike.

Ellison scored the first of Morecambe’s two goals the last time the two clubs met at the Globe Arena.

The veteran cancelled out Darren Ward’s owner for the Glovers before Shaun Miller netted a winner ten minutes from time.

Referee

Mark Brown is the man in the middle for Saturday’s match in Lancashire.

The East Yorkshire official will take charge of just his 10th game of the season, and has issued 23 yellows and no reds.

Last season, Mr Brown refereed Town’s 1-0 loss away to York City.

He will be assisted by Kevin Mulraine (Cumbria) and Matthew Bristow (Manchester) with Aaron Jackson (Nottinghamshire) acting as fourth official.
